Roaring Rugby Camps
Roaring Rugby Camps are very special because they are unique, exciting and fun and a real opportunity for children to experience the game of rugby in a distinctive way from after-school clubs and PE lessons. As well as introducing new players to the game through fun and excitement, we aim to have a diverse mix of the latest games, activities and skills. At the heart of the camp will be the development and welfare of the young people and we aim to put on a safe, quality, enjoyable and age appropriate programme for young players who are interested in playing the game.
The sessions have the right balance of play and rest, intense and light activity, competition and development. Roaring Rugby Camps are all about fun first and are a very positive experience with each child rewarded with a special certificate on completion, in fact we have over 10 different awards for all to aspire to with an overall special category for outstanding achievement
How does it work?
The content and delivery of all our camps is delivered over two days and the best is that it includes all the knowledge, experience and high quality content of the big cat programmes which over 1500 children have completed so far. Your child will learn the core values of rugby union, teamwork, respect, discipline, enjoyment and sportsmanship alongside Cheetahs Games, Leopards Decision Making Skills, Lions Kicking and a set of Tigers Tournament sessions amongst others. All camps are led by a qualified and licensed RFU Level 2 coach with experienced RFU level 1 coaches.
